Segato Angela specializes in the design and manufacturing of sheet metal stamping molds, created according to technical drawings or samples provided by the client. Within our workshop, we manage all phases of mold production, from design and construction to final press testing, ensuring precision, reliability, and long-term durability. Thanks to our experience in the metalworking sector and consolidated technical know-how, we are able to develop industrial molds for shearing and cold sheet metal stamping, designed to ensure production efficiency and consistent quality of the components produced.

Die making: frequently asked questions
What types of sheet metal dies do you build?
Block dies, progressive dies, transfer dies, blanking and punching dies, deep drawing dies, bending dies and dies with integrated transfer systems.
Do you start from a drawing or a sample?
Both. We design the die from the part's technical drawing or from a sample supplied by the customer.
Is the die tested before delivery?
Yes. We handle every stage in our workshop, from design and construction to press trials, to check that the stamped part meets the specification.
How large can the dies be?
We also build large dies: one of our progressive dies measures 1,500 × 1,100 × 550 mm. The most complex parts are machined in-house with wire EDM.
Do you service and repair existing dies?
Yes, including dies we did not build. Periodic maintenance keeps performance high over time, reduces component wear and ensures consistent quality of the stamped parts.
Can you also produce the parts with the die?
Yes. Our pressing department produces the components for third parties, in small or large series, using the die we built.
